Today we moved down to Hollywood! just south of Ft . Lauderdale. We had a nice comfortable motor sail on the outside for most of the way. The wind did not quite cooperate for a real sail. Today would have been a perfect crossing day, but we are having a crew change on Saturday. My current prediction is that our crossing to the Bahamas will be Tuesday, from Dinner Key via Bimini. But this is of course subject to change with weather.
Looking forward to seeing our new crew, Patrick and Brian on Saturday.
We are really the small boat in our marina tonight. Our neighbors are a 65 ft motor yacht and a 120 ft motor yacht, so we feel really small.. The place is full of Canadians on really nice boats. They are all here for the winter. What do these folks do - whatever it is, I need to figure it out!!
Here are some shots of our entry to. Port Everglades.
See you tomorrow! I'm curious to see what these big yachts look like, nice pictures.
