Lighthouse Point, February 4, 2014

Yesterday, we left Loggerhead Marina at Lantana and headed south.  The weather was noticeably warmer, and the other boaters (motor) noticeably less courteous.

We joined a string of 5 sailboats headed south, but one-by-one they dropped off our tail.  We were a little faster under motor and made a couple of bridge openings that the others didn't.

Today is a work day largely.  We made it along the ICW through many bridges to Lighthouse Point, just south of Boca Raton.  Last night we met up with even more Geo-family - Tom, Michele, and family.  it was great to see everyone and we had a wonderful Wahoo meal at the Nauti Dawg. As the name implies, this happened to be a pet-friendly restaurant.  This is the first place I have seen that even had a pet menu! and Mondays are half-price for pets.  So Salty got a $3 steak dinner.  Here he is reading the menu.
